Walker Art Center May 7th 2011! 11-5pm Just in time for Mother’s Day, nineteen local jewelry artists and designers will be coming to join us here at the Walker Art Center for the Local Jewelry Artist Mart in Medtronic Gallery. Shoppers will find one of a kind pieces by the local talent.

Riverfront Fine Arts and Crafts Festival
The popular Arts Fair will be held in the heart of downtown Northfield in September 2010. More than 75 artists and fine craft artisans will show their work on the stone walkways hugging both sides of the Cannon River. As always, the Festival coincides with the Defeat of Jesse James Days celebration, which brings crowds of 150,000 each year. Find wonderful photography, pottery, paintings, fiber art, jewelry and more by artists from all over Minnesota and the region. Dates: September 11th and 12th 2010

First Thursday- October 7th, 5-9pm This Thursday has been declared Jewelry Night in NE! Come to the Arts District in Northeast Minneapolis and see some of the best art and jewelry that the Twin Cities has to offer! As part of American Craft Week, Arts District jewelers are teaming together and hosting a great group of guest jewelry artists to provide you an amazing selection of jewelry to view and shop. You'll find a variety of media, styles and prices to fit your accessorizing and gift giving needs. And, as it is the first Thursday of the month (and also part of American Craft Week), many other artists' studios will be open for First Thursday Open Studios in the Arts District - so Northeast will be full of all types of artwork to enjoy. Please come and visit - this promises to be a fantastic event and one heck of a jewel party. Whatever your media, style or price, you will find something to love. Come check it out!

November 6th! Walker Art Center's Local to Global Jewelry Mart event. It will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2010, from 11am – 5pm. The event takes place in Friedman Gallery, one of the main gallery spaces of the Walker Art Center, here in Minneapolis.
